Job Description

The CDB-iEM platform, built by Creative Biostructure, is a powerful and versatile system for high-resolution microscopic analysis of cellular motility complexes, ultrastructure, and many other material subjects. To further enhance our service capabilities, we are looking for a scientist with experience in the field of cryogenic electron microscopy (cryo-EM). We are providing cryo-EM services such as single particle analysis (SPA), cryo-electron tomography (cryo-ET) for companies and biomedical researchers. Among them, cryo-ET is increasingly being developed as a major technical tool for studying cell structure and function.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the technical direction of SPA or cryo-ET, training and instructing staff on the use of appropriate software for data collection, structure analysis, and reporting.

• Manage the execution and completion of project plans through effective coordination of personnel and resources.

• Participate in the execution of cryo-EM sample preparation and testing, image data analysis, and other technical service projects.

• Participate in the development and application of cryo-EM related methodology.

• Consultation and assistance in the design of cryo-EM experiments.

Basic Qualifications

• Ph.D. in cellular and molecular biology, genomics, physics, or related fields.

• A solid theoretical foundation or operational experience in cryo-EM is preferred.

• Pro-active mindset, ability to think end-to-end.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
