Pathology Research

Brain neural networks. Electron microscope

Electron microscopy (EM), which mainly includes scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM), is an essential tool for pathologists. Compared to light microscopy, EM has a much higher resolution and allows direct observation of cellular organelles, cells, tissue structures, and microorganisms (such as viruses, bacteria). This microscopy technique can clarify architectural details and help in the investigation of blood, kidney, skin, nervous system, muscle, and infectious diseases. Creative Biostructure is a leading global life sciences company providing expertise and services to researchers and professionals in EM research applications.

Areas of Research Pathology at the iEM Platform

We have launched the iEM Platform, a unique integrated platform for EM and other microscopy technologies. We are able to provide technical support and consultation at all levels for customers requiring routine and analytical TEM, SEM, confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM), and atomic force microscopy (AFM).

  • TEM can provide high-resolution images and is able to visualize small intra- and extracellular structures (e.g. cellular organelles, cellular inclusions, microfilaments, and collagen).
  • SEM allows the study of surface structures of tissue and provides useful information about cell composition, contour, and diameter, facilitating an understanding of how tissues are organized.
  • AFM is another useful tool in histopathology research. AFM can produce high-resolution surface morphology characterization in liquid with minimal sample preparation.

Service Offering

Our areas of services mainly include,

Ultrastructural Pathology

In nonclinical toxicity and efficacy studies, the ultrastructural pathology is vital in the morphologic evaluation and subcellular structure characterization. EM is applied to investigate a wide range of biological and other specimens at an ultrastructural level, providing high-resolution images.

Experimental Pathology

At our unique platform, we are able to characterize and evaluate animal models of pathological states. We have extensive experience in the evaluation of animal models of lung disease, renal disease, cancers, and so on.

What Can We Help You?

  • Characterization of ultrastructural morphology of cells in different pathological entities.
  • Explore the molecular and structural basis of multiple diseases.
  • Drug evaluation and development.
  • Characterization of various pathogens and their ultrastructure.

With the range of advanced microscopy technologies and our highly qualified technical staff, Creative Biostructure makes pathology research more efficient. We are capable of offering a pathology research package tailored to your specific needs. Feel free to contact us . We'd be happy to discuss any projects related to pathology research and see how we can support your work.
