Biomedical Engineering

Biotechnology or biology technology biotech.

Biomedical engineering (BME), also known as medical engineering, is the application of engineering principles and related techniques to biology and medicine for healthcare purposes. BME aims to enhance human health and health care at all levels, ranging from diagnosis, analysis, to treatment and recovery. Today, biomedical engineering has many subdisciplines, including the design and development of medical devices, orthopedic implants, tissue and stem cell engineering, medical imaging, clinical engineering, and so on. Clinical engineering provides safer and more reliable medical devices for clinical use. Tissue and stem cell engineering provides artificial recreation of human organs, aids transplants. More medical implants are designed and developed to replace missing body parts or provide support to organs and tissues, helping millions of people around the world live better lives.

The iEM Platform Capabilities

Creative Biostructure has years of experience in imaging and analyzing a variety of materials based on our iEM Platform, a powerful integrated electron microscopy platform. The iEM Platform consists of a suite of advanced microscopy technologies, including scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM), atomic force microscopy (AFM), and corresponding accessories and software.

We are able to evaluate the physical morphology and chemical properties of component surfaces for medical devices, including a series of surgically-implanted medical devices. We promise to deliver high-resolution images and fast measurements that can provide abundant and valuable information for evaluating the design, ergonomics, and safety of medical devices. In addition, we are committed to providing accurate and reliable implant analysis in basic research.
